The "Dangerous" Adventure

Last night Elliot started planning an adventure that he was going to go on with 2 of his friends. So today Grant took Elliot, Whitney, and 3 other kids out for his adventure. Grant said they had an absolute blast. He took them down to the river bottom and they walked in the woods and climbed the bluffs for several hours. They ended their adventure with a trip to McDonalds.

Iona Turns One!

Christmas in MN

On December 26th we went to MN. We were there through New Years. It was a very busy week, but we had fun seeing everyone. We fit alot in, in only a week! On the way to MN we picked Gavin up in Fargo. It was good to be able to spend some time with him. We celebrated Christmas with my family at the Lake house.

Opening Presents

The guys went ice fishing, so we took Iona out on her first sled ride. At first she wasn't quite sure, but she ended up enjoying it.

We got to spend lots of time with Ryan, Lorelei, and Iona. We sure miss living 12 miles away from them. It is hard missing out on all of Iona's first. We can't wait to be back home!!

We spent a morning at Peggy's. The kids were so excited to see all their daycare friends! Connor and Whitney were so excited to see each other! They cracked we up when they first saw each other. Connor didn't know what to think. Whitney misses you so much!

My mom Whitney and I went shopping together one morning. Whitney thought we should
all take a picture together. It turned out to be a great picture of the 3 of us!
Ryan, Lorelei, Grant, and I were lucky enough to be able to go out one evening. We went to our favorite restaraunt Bar LaGrassa. Thanks mom and dad for watching all the kids!

We also got to spend some time with Jed, Becky, and the boys. On New Year's Eve we took the kids to the arcade at the bowling alley. They had lots of fun playing games and jumping in the bounce house!

Christmas with the Sala's

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Williston with the Sala's. We had a wonderful time. Nichole and Aidan were here from Houston. It was great to be able to spend some time with them. On Christmas Day Mildred got to spend the day with us all. She had a great day!

Happy Birthday Whitney!

Whitney turned 3 today! She wanted a butterflly themed birthday party. The kids and I made her a buttterfly cake. It was fun to make!! She invited two little girls from daycare. She also had both sets of grandparents at her party. We made a butterfly craft project, played, opened presents, and ate cake. Thanks to everyone that helped make her day so special. She had a great day!!

Grandma Peg made Whitney an ABC scrapbook. It is tradition that on the kid's 3rd birthday that they get an alphabet scrapbook. Whitney was so excited when she opened it.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went to my parents house. It was just us and my mom and dad. The kids had fun making projects and helping Grandma cook. On Thursday night we all drove to Billings to get in on the Black Friday shopping. My mom and I were one of the crazy ones that went out at 9 that night and shopped unitl 4 AM. We did find some good deals though! While in Billings the kids got to see Santa. I came prepared and brought their Christmas outfits.

My kids are into "cheesing" during pictures. It is hard to get good ones of them when asked to pose. Thanks Grandma Sala for our outfits!

Making birthday cards for Whitney. Whitney loves to make birthday cards and since her birthday is coming up she thought it would be a good idea to make herself a card. Elliot also worked very hard on a card for Whitney. He is really into writing words and wrote Happy Birthday on the card all by himself!

Making a salad with Grandma. When my mom asked Whitney if she wanted to help her Whitney said "Sure because I am the best maker!".
